Fokus News, TAPUT – Polda Sumatera Utara tak main-main dalam memberantas segala bentuk perjudian di wilayahnya. Kali ini Tim gabungan Polres Taput bersama Polsek Adiankoting menggerebek perjudian tembak ikan dan togel di Desa Adiankoting dan Desa Pagaran Pisang Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Sebelumnya polisi juga menyikat perjudian di Kecamatan Sipahutar dan Garoga.
“Secara maraton, kami akan terus berupaya menghentikan segala perjudian baik jenis tembak ikan, togel dan sejenisnya,” tegas Kapolres Tapanuli Utara AKBP Johanson Sianturi melalui Kasat Binmas AKP RS. Nababan, Sabtu (29/7/2023).
“Kami dalami, kami proses dan kami tutup tempat perjudiannya. Barang bukti seperti meja judi juga sudah kita amankan,” sambungnya didampingi Kapolsek Adiankoting AKP M. Togatorop.
Sementara itu Kapolsek Adiankoting AKP M. Togatorop menambahkan, perjudian yang baru saja digerebek beroperasi sekitar 3 bulan. “Dan saat ini kegiatan tersebut sudah tidak ada lagi, sudah tutup total,” jelas AKP M. Togatorop.
Menariknya, upaya Polres Taput dalam memberantas perjudian mendapat dukungan penuh dari tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, tokoh pemuda hingga kepala desa.
“Kami apresiasi, saat ini lokasi perjudian di Adiankoting sudah bersih dan meja ikan-ikan pun sudah tidak ada,” ujar Doglas Sitompul, tokoh masyarakat setempat.
Senada disampaikan tokoh agama, Asli Situmeang. “Judi tembak ikan dan togel memang sudah tidak ada. Saya selaku tokoh agama yang menolak perjudian turut mendampingi Kapolsek dan Kasat Bimmas ke lapangan. Hasilnya sudah bersih,” ucapnya.
Kepala Desa Pagar pisang Robin Tua Sitompul dan Kepala Desa Adiankoting Budi Sitohang juga menjelaskan hal yang sama.
Pihaknya mengaku siap mendukung pihak kepolisian khususnya Polres Taput dalam membasmi segala jenis judi, baik itu tembak ikan, togel dan sejenisnya.
